IGNOU Admission 2025: July Session, Registration open, Last Date

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has officially announced the admission for the July 2025 session. IGNOU offers various courses in Open Distance Learning(ODL) and Online Learning(OL) mode. Interested students can now enroll in various undergraduate(UG), postgraduate(PG), diploma and certificate courses. Last date for ODL and OL mode registration is 15 July 2025.

Programs Offered

IGNOU offers various UG, PG, diploma, and certificate programs as per your requirements. ODL and Online Mode have different lists of courses offered by IGNOU.

In ODL mode IGNOU will provide study material, but in Online mode programs no printed (hard copy) study material will be provided you must have access to computer or laptop and internet and you must be comfortable in online learning.

How to Apply for IGNOU Admissions 2025 January session:

Follow these steps to register for the July 2025 session:

  1. Open the website: https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
  2. Register by providing your details to create a ‘User Name’ and ‘Password.’
  3. You will receive your ‘User Name’ and ‘Password’ via SMS and email.
  4. Log in to the system using your ‘User Name’ and ‘Password.’
  5. Fill out the Admission Form online.
  6. Upload the following:
  7. A recent passport-size photo (maximum 100KB, JPG format).
  8. Your signature (maximum 100KB, JPG format).
  9. Scanned copies of required documents (maximum 200KB per document, JPG or PDF format).
  10. Carefully read the instructions and declaration. Tick the ‘Declaration’ box.
  11. Preview the filled form and confirm the details.
  12. Pay the admission fee using a Credit/Debit card or Net Banking.
  13. You will receive a payment confirmation via SMS and email.
  14. Click the ‘Next’ button to see the final preview of your form.
  15. Submit the form online and download the filled application. Keep a printout for your records.

Documents Required:

Ensure you have the following documents ready before applying:

  1. Scanned passport-sized photograph (maximum 100KB, JPG format).
  2. Scanned signature in JPG format (maximum 100KB, JPG format).
  3. Educational certificates (10th, 12th, graduation, etc.) (less than 200 KB).
  4. Birth certificate or proof of date of birth (less than 200 KB).
  5. Caste or category certificate (if applicable) (less than 200 KB).
